Why Free Markets Matter for Nevada

Nevada was built by risk-takers, entrepreneurs, and people who bet on themselves. From the silver miners of the Comstock Lode to the visionaries who built Las Vegas from desert sand, our state's DNA is woven with free enterprise. It's time Washington stopped punishing that spirit.

The Problem: Washington Picks Winners and Losers

Every year, the federal government adds thousands of pages of new regulations. Each one is a barrier between a Nevadan and their livelihood. Small business owners in Pahrump, North Las Vegas, Hawthorne, and Tonopah spend more time filling out compliance paperwork than serving their customers. Entrepreneurs abandon ideas because the regulatory burden makes them impossible to pursue.

Meanwhile, well-connected corporations with armies of lobbyists write the rules in their favor. The system isn't broken — it's rigged. And it's rigged against you.

The Solution: Get Government Out of the Way

Free markets aren't just an economic theory — they're the most powerful engine of prosperity in human history. When people are free to trade, innovate, and compete, prices fall, quality rises, and opportunity expands for everyone.

Here's what I'll fight for in Congress:

  • Cut red tape: For every new regulation, eliminate two existing ones. Nevada businesses need relief, not more paperwork.
  • Lower taxes: Let families and businesses keep more of what they earn. That money is better spent by you than by bureaucrats in Washington.
  • End corporate welfare: No more bailouts, no more subsidies for politically connected industries. Let businesses succeed or fail on their own merits.
  • Protect small business: The backbone of Nevada's economy shouldn't be crushed under the same regulatory weight designed for Fortune 500 companies.

This Is Personal

I've seen what happens when government gets in the way of hardworking people. I've watched Nevadans across Nye County, Mineral County, Esmeralda County, and Lincoln County struggle under the weight of taxes and regulations that serve no one but the bureaucracy itself. And I've had enough.

The free market isn't perfect — but it's infinitely better than letting politicians in Washington decide how you should run your business, spend your money, or live your life.

Nevada deserves a representative who trusts its people more than its government. That's exactly what I intend to be.
